I was moved to hear about the recent passing of Tom. He was one of the few people I hung out with in my teen years. I still remember the many nights we spent working on our various cars in the shop of his dad’s Auto Parts Store out on West 6th or cutting class and taking his jeep on the old 4wd road from the Rowena Loops up and over 7 Mile Hill back into The Dalles. Fun times. Tom’s resting in peace now, or as Jesus said about one of his friends, “he’s sleeping”. Now, we the living, are left to carry the load. I know he’ll be missed terribly by his family and loved ones. In behalf of myself and Sally, my wife and companion of 46 years, we send our sincere condolences to you all.
